Kicking off 2024, proud to have been asked to shoot the artwork for the new release of Dear England into the cinemas nationwide.
A fun afternoon on stage with the cast and crew alongside my team as we used the theatre lighting as the starting canvas upon which to build the lighting around. Adding our lights to compliment the stage giving viewers a sense of the “in theatre real experience” whilst adding all the emotion in camera.

Working on the creative direction, development then execution of all assets, I directed a 30sec motion piece, cut downs then photographed the still assets. For post, on both motion and stills, I collaborated on the edit, grade and VFX process working alongside brilliant specialists throughout.

Incredibly proud to share that my portrait of Rebecca Hayes from Victoria Park Vixens FC has been selected as one of the winning photographs in this years Portrait of Britain competition.
The portrait will on display in the largest exhibition of its kind on hundreds of JCDeceaux screens across the UK as well as featuring in the accompanying book published by Hoxton Mini Press on sale here

From casted talent and production to working on the fly, meeting real people in a very authentic documentary style, we visited some amazing locations.

Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2022 Shortlist
I’m pleased to share that two portraits including Amy Conroy (above) were selected into the final shortlisted round of judging with 350 other portraits for the prestigious Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize with the National Portrait Gallery.
Unfortunately the portraits didn’t make the final exhibition of 55 portraits BUT I’m so pleased the work got selected by judges from 4,462 other photographs to be considered for the prestigious prize and exhibition.
Thank you to Amy for trusting me to create her portrait in a way she has never seen before, pushing her boundaries and loving the result! It was a true creative collaboration.

Amy Conroy - Preview
I’m pleased to share a preview of new personal work in collaboration with Amy Conroy.
Amy has a positive character, an infectious laugh and that strong minded determination of an out and out winner.
Wheelchair Basketball is her sport, taken up at the age of 14 having been diagnosed with cancer that led to her leg being amputated. She has since gone onto to represent Great Britain in the World, European and Paralympic Games since 2010.
With all her confidence, Amy spoke about her fear of being seen in public without her prosthetic leg on. Always covering up with towels at public swimming pools or on holiday, worried what people would think of her and the looks she might get.
I decided to challenge her fear by collaborating with Amy to create this series of portraits in a swimming pool environment to empower and represent herself in a way she has never seen or experienced before. Amy tells me she’s really pleased with the results!
A huge thanks to my team, they made it a relaxing and fun shoot.

A new personal series working closely with Hannah to visually celebrate her past successes whilst shining a light on future goals. I learnt Hannah doesn’t have any photographs with her 5 x Gold medals (apart from the standard podium shots) so I came up with the simple idea to honour her achievements by wrapping her in gold. And what a fun day it was! Thanks to the team as always.
A special congratulations to Hannah for breaking her two previous World Records again in the T34 400m and 800m races this weekend!

Formed in February 2019 after an Instagram story callout for girls looking to form a team in East London, they now have three and almost 40 players of varying abilities in their squad.
Off the field, players are championing women in football from Charlotte’s relentless work as a referee for the mens and women’s game to the designers, writers and artists using their craft to inspire a positive movement inspiring others to get involved in football.
I’ve been getting to know the squad over the last six months during those long sun-drenched weekend training sessions to the bitterly cold Monday night games. The spirit across the team remains positive regardless of results.

Haven’t posted on the socials for a while what with a flat move before lockdown, i’ve been settling into life in London and loving it. But being on the ground, photographing across London these past few months, it’s a surreal experience seeing the buzz of the city swallowed up. All thoughts are with our industry, the freelance and production community and the Arts and Hospitality sectors at this time.
We are here and we are coming back stronger!
Moving forward I've 3 personal projects being made and various treatments for clients. Most importantly we are all realising the important role sport and fitness plays on our physical health and mental wellbeing. They can never stop us! We all need sport in whatever capacity and i’m looking forward to sharing new stories of inspiring people. Stay safe, stay together!

Fans for Ladbrokes
An open and trusting brief by Ladbrokes that gave unrestricted access across the whole of Wembley to document the fans in the build up to and duration the Challenge Cup final. Having this freedom to explore and meet anyone was fantastic and led to a varied day sitting alongside fans, getting beer poured everywhere and seeing the extent to which fans dress up for their team.
The Catalan Dragons won meaning the Challenge Cup crossed waters onto French soil for the first time in its 122 year history

To humanise O-I, a fortune 500 company with yearly revenues of 7 billion, I was asked to spend time with and get to know the teams of dedicated employees enduring the hot conditions you’d expect from a busy, hard working factory environment.
Thanks Hodes and Mimi for trusting in the concept and style as we worked on creating a personable and insightful look to communicate the companies story over it’s long history without relying on the array of global drinks names to adorn the images and focussed on the people. Thanks for giving us the freedom to get up close and be curious in each location, allowing us unlimited access throughout.

September and October saw us collabourate with the guys at Studio Rotate for the launch of a new boutique fitness and wellness studio 'KXU' in Sloane Square.
I loved shooting all the assets to promote a new fitness concept that focuses on building a community. It's designed to bring people together to enjoy excercise, training and socialising in an informal yet beautifully designed space. From health and nutrition in the large bar area and the large variery of classes on offer, KXU allows you to relax and indulge in high-end treatments for the body and skin.
Despire the lack of smiles in these pics it was great fun directing a variety of talent across the fitness community and KXU family.

A fun few days shooting with the guys at Comic Relief for next years Sport Relief 2018 campaign that's out and about with more shots in Sainsburys next month. It was a fulfiling shoot working quickly around a film crew in accessible locations in London.
